Final Profession

“I am all yours, all that I have is yours, O Most loving Jesus through Mary, your most holy Mother” TD no. 233. Final Profession of our brothers is a time of celebration and thanksgiving, not only to our Indian Province, but also to our Congregation and to the Universal Church.

This year we had six of our brothers namely Brothers Arun D, Souza, Jaya Kumar, Gnana Prakash, Bala Raju, Arul Jose Nashwin and Ravi Thappeta having completed their Theology at DVK and fulfilling the basic requirements for priestly formation were promoted to their Final Profession. This year from August to October they were in St. Laurent- Sur- Serve (France) to attend the PPP course. Having completed their course they made their Perpetual Profession on 8th December 2017 at Maria Bhavan.

The Main celebrant for the liturgy was Fr. Wismic who is our Assistant General, and in his sermon he spoke about the importance of the call and highlighted the feast of Immaculate Conception which was inspiring and fascinating. Along with him Fr. Rosario who is our General Councillor, Fr Michael Sahayaraj our Provincial, Our Montfortian Priests and many other priests and religious were present to grace the occasion. I would say it was a historical moment for the reason nearly after 27 years of long gap we had six brothers who made their profession. This was the second highest number in India.

To grace this occasion parents of the newly professed, relatives and well-wishers were present and also many religious who took part in this celebration. After the mass the newly professed brothers witnessed the felicitation programme in the auditorium followed by cake cutting. We thank the Lord for the great day and for the gift of these newly professed brothers to our Congregation. May our founder continue to send labourers to work in his vineyard to make known Jesus and Mary. Hearty Congratulation Dear Brothers.
